Can I use Horizon RX for normal urgent care visits, even if I'm not traveling?
Yes! Horizon RX is able to see any urgent care visit as long as it's appropriate for telehealth. You and your clinician will discuss your symptoms, and if it's determined that you need additional help, we'll refer you for an in-person visit.
Is there an additional cost for prescriptions?
The cost of the actual medication will depend on your pharmacy and insurance coverage. Horizon Rx only charges for the consultation, and we make sure your prescriptions are handled as quickly as possible.
Can I use insurance to cover the cost of the consultation?
Horizon Rx is a cash-based service, and we do not currently accept insurance. However, some patients may use their HSA or FSA funds to cover the cost of their virtual consultation.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Our pricing is straightforward, with no hidden fees. You’ll only be charged for the consultation, which includes your prescription service and access to our health resources.
Do you offer refunds if I need to cancel my consultation?
We offer full refunds for cancellations made 24 hours in advance. If you need to reschedule, we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

How do I book a virtual consultation?

What kind of conditions do you treat?
Horizon Rx focuses on travel-related health concerns, such as digestive issues, nausea, jet lag, altitude sickness, and other common ailments. We also provide vaccine recommendations for destination-specific health risks.
Will I receive a prescription after my consultation?
Based on your virtual consultation, our healthcare providers will prescribe appropriate medications as needed. Prescriptions are sent to your local pharmacy immediately following your visit for easy access. If you have insurance, your medications may be covered.
Is your service available outside of California?
