What conditions do you treat?
Common urgent care concerns including UTIs, sinus infections, pink eye, cold and flu symptoms, yeast infections and vaginal health, skin rashes and minor skin infections, seasonal allergies, and minor GI issues. We also offer travel medicine consultations for pre-trip prescriptions.
What can't you treat over telemedicine?
Anything requiring lab work, imaging, or an in-person exam — including fractures, chest pain, severe abdominal pain, pregnancy complications, and mental health crises. If telemedicine isn't right for you, we'll tell you and refund your fee.
Can I use my insurance?
Horizon Rx is a cash-pay service. We do not currently accept insurance. However, your visit is eligible for reimbursement from your HSA/FSA, and many patients prefer the privacy of cash-pay for sensitive visits.
Are there any hidden fees?
Absolutely not! The $99 visit fee covers your full visit and follow-up support. The only thing not included is the cost of the medication itself, which depends on your pharmacy and any prescription coverage or discount programs you use.
Who is eligible for Horizon RX services?
Anyone physically located in California at the time of the visit. You don't need to be a California resident — just present in the state at the time of your visit. If you're here traveling, we'll work with you to find a pharmacy closest to your hotel.
How do I book a virtual consultation?
Booking is easy! Simply visit our website, select a convenient time for your secure video consultation, and fill out your online intake paperwork prior to your visit. One of our clinicians will be happy to see you!
Do you offer any other services?
Horizon Rx additionally offers prescription services for travel-related health concerns and pre-trip prophylactic medications. We also provide vaccine recommendations for destination-specific health risks.
Will I receive a prescription after my consultation?
Based on your virtual consultation, our healthcare providers will prescribe appropriate medications as needed. Prescriptions are sent to your preferred pharmacy immediately following your visit for easy access.
Is your service available outside of California?
